The Interview Doctor has a book coming out!
Yes it is true. We are publishing our first book, The Job Search Marketing Plan, the first in a five book series called Job Seeker’s Manifesto.

Writing a book is new to me. I love it! I approached it as if it was just a big blog article. A really big, 20,000 word blog article.
I mostly wrote in the morning when it was quiet, pulling ideas from past blogs and past clients. Eventually the voices of past clients and contacts started speaking to me; their stories mean something to me. The stories build a meaningful picture of what job seekers really think and how they approach the job search.
I started writing this book in September 2012 and finished it by the end of October. Writing a book reinforced how much I love to write. I love hearing those voices telling stories in my head. I love organizing my thoughts . I even love rewriting and editing until the final product is just right. I often finished writing for a day wanting to show everyone what I created. I love that feeling!!
The next steps took unbelievably long – finding an editor, determining how we wanted to publish the book, learning how to publish then pulling the whole thing together into a product we can share with you. It was an exhausting and invigorating process – mixed feelings at every turn.
Now it is done. I just about cried when I saw the Kindle preview, knowing that soon you will see what I created. I hope you like it as much as we do.
