525,600 minutes in a year. 37,843,200 minutes in the average human lifetime. Each minute is precious. At the end of the line will you be pleased in where you placed your priorities?
I have a few regrets. I wish I had a better relationship with my youngest sister. I wish I contributed more to my community. I wish I’d gone to my grandmother’s funeral across country so many years ago.
I do not regret my career, for the most part. There have been some bumps, of course, but I am pretty proud of my choices and of my accomplishments.
